Nate Sullivan


Nate received his M.A. in History from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and has a B.S. and M.Ed. in Social Sciences from Liberty University

Before coming to LKS Nate taught in Lynchburg, Virginia,  in both special education and history. He was a Special Ed. Teacher at Bridges Child and Adolescent Treatment Center in Lynchburg for nine years. Since 2013, he has been a Content Developer for, where his material reaches a national audience of high school and college students. He is also an Adjunct History Professor for Roane State Community College, based out of the Knoxville, Tennessee area, and is author of numerous history-related articles. Nate is a self-proclaimed life-long learner with a thirst for knowledge that is contagious. He regards education as his life’s calling. Historical reenacting and visiting historic sites are two of Nate’s biggest hobbies. In 2013, Nate had the opportunity to reenact for a History Channel documentary. His other hobbies include: hiking, kayaking, traveling, reading, writing, antiquing, playing and watching hockey, and spending time with family and friends. Nate and his wife, Morgan, have two daughters.
